Lionfish a threat - but you can help

I've just been watching "Caribbean with Simon Reeve" on BBC2 - an amazing hour of television covering Barbados, St.Vincent, Venezuela and Colombia.

One of the things the programme touched on was the efforts to cull lionfish.  Lionfish are invasive and putting huge pressure on fish stocks.  If you want to do something about it, you could go on a volunteer holiday in Belize.  Responsible Travel lists two such holidays - you can find out more about them here.
